Economic value of ribociclib in early breast cancer in the United States

A 4-state Markov model comparing ribociclib plus a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor (NSAI) with NSAI alone estimated the expected lifetime costs and effectiveness for patients with early breast cancer. Results showed ribociclib plus a NSAI to be more cost effective in the United States versus NSAI alone by reducing the rate of metastatic recurrence and increasing quality-adjusted life years.
